Machine tool · Clamping
A compact, machine-side VMC hydraulic power pack built to clamp vertical machining centre fixtures — reliably, cycle after cycle, through a full shift. Typical working pressure is 40–160 bar in continuous duty, with the motor, pump, tank and valving sized around your clamps rather than a catalogue number.
Every unit is assembled and pressure-tested in our own Pune facility before dispatch. The figures on this page are typical / illustrative to help you shortlist — not a fixed price list or final specification.
What it is
On a VMC, the hydraulic power pack has one job to do well: hold the workpiece rock-steady while the spindle cuts. Clamp pressure has to come up fast, stay put for the whole cycle even if the pump unloads, and release cleanly for the next part. Our VMC clamping packs are built for exactly that duty — a small footprint that sits machine-side, a reservoir and motor sized for continuous running, and a manifold that gives you clean clamp / unclamp control.
Because clamping force, cylinder count and cycle time differ from fixture to fixture, we do not ship a one-size figure. We take your clamp cylinders, the holding force the cut needs and how many stations you run, then confirm the pressure, flow and valving that suit them. Pressure holding is typically supported with an accumulator so the motor is not cycling against every clamp. For VMC-specific application detail, see our hydraulic power pack for VMC page; if you need clamping and actuation across a mix of machines, see the broader machine tool hydraulic power units.
Reference build
A representative VMC clamping power pack. All figures are typical / illustrative and confirmed by a Suyog engineer on enquiry — this is not a final specification or price list.

| Flow | ~2 – 12 LPM |
| Motor | 1 – 3 HP, TEFC |
| Pump | Gear or vane, fixed displacement |
| Tank | 20 – 50 L |
| Control | Solenoid directional valve(s) + pressure control on manifold; accumulator for pressure holding |

What we tailor on a VMC clamping pack to suit your machine:
In-house testing
No clamping pack leaves our factory untested. Each applicable unit is run on our own bench, with pressure, flow and clamp / unclamp operation verified and a pre-dispatch test certificate issued.
Warranty & documentation
Warranty: applicable units carry a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of dispatch, subject to correct installation, recommended oil and normal operating conditions. Warranty scope is confirmed in writing with your order.
Datasheet: a detailed datasheet for your confirmed configuration is available on request. Send your fixture and clamp requirement and we will issue drawings and specifications with your quote.
Questions
Most VMC fixture clamping runs at a typical 40 to 160 bar. The exact set pressure depends on your clamp cylinders, the number of clamps and the holding force the cut demands. We confirm the working pressure for your fixture on enquiry rather than shipping a fixed figure.
Yes. A single power pack can feed several fixtures or machines if flow, pressure and control are sized for it, typically with an accumulator to hold clamp pressure and separate directional valves per station. We engineer the manifold and control to suit how many stations you need to clamp and unclamp.
Yes. VMC clamping packs run continuous duty next to the machine, so we specify the motor, reservoir volume and — where the heat load requires it — oil cooling to hold a stable oil temperature through a full shift. The compact footprint is chosen to sit machine-side without crowding the operator.
No. The figures shown are typical and illustrative to help you shortlist. They are not a final specification or a price list. A Suyog engineer confirms the pressure, flow, motor, pump, tank and valving for your fixture before quoting, and every applicable unit is pressure-tested before dispatch.
